When anxiety, stress, or past experiences keep repeating the same patterns in your life, it can feel exhausting — even when you’re doing your best to cope.
You might feel constantly on edge, overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, or stuck in habits that no longer serve you.
Many of the people I work with are highly sensitive, prone to people-pleasing, or shaped by difficult experiences earlier in life — including trauma or loss — even if they function well on the outside.
I offer a gentle, trauma-informed, body-based approach to help you feel safer, more grounded, and freer to move forward.
I work exclusively with adults (18+) in a safe, supportive, trauma-informed space.
You don’t need to have it all figured out
You don’t need a diagnosis, a clear story, or one specific issue to start therapy.
Anxiety, stress, trauma, loss and relationship patterns often overlap.
I work with you as a whole person, at your pace, without forcing or reliving painful experiences.

How this works
A gentle, somatic approach to change
This work goes beyond talking alone. By including the body and nervous system, we can access patterns that often remain stuck despite insight or effort.
Rather than analysing or pushing for change, we work with what shows up in the moment — emotions, sensations, memories — allowing your system to release what it’s been holding when it feels safe to do so.
If you’ve tried other approaches and they didn’t help, it doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you. There may simply be another way.

Hello, I’m Ilaria Longo (she/her).
I am a Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapist specialising in stress relief, anxiety and trauma recovery.
Based in East Sussex, I work with adults (18+) across the UK and internationally online, as well as face-to-face locally.
I draw from a range of evidence-based somatic approaches, including Clinical EFT (Tapping) and Brainspotting, choosing what best supports you in each session.
I am one of only 326 Advanced EFT Practitioners worldwide accredited by EFT International.
None of us are broken. Sometimes we just need support to access new ways of responding to old patterns.
You already have the resources you need for change — they may simply be buried under stress, past experiences, or long-standing beliefs.
My role is to support you in bringing those resources back online, safely and compassionately.
